- Completing the doctoral thesis by 30 June 2030
- Supporting research activities in the project SUBALTERNEGY, possibly including fieldwork in Egypt

Requirements
- Completed MA degree with a focus on Egyptology
- Very good knowledge of the visual culture of ancient Egypt
- Good knowledge of the ancient Egyptian language and hieroglyphs
- Basic knowledge of cultural theory
- Excellent command of written and spoken English

- transcripts of records as well as BA and MA diplomas
- a relevant written piece of research, for example an essay submitted as part of your degree or a chapter from your MA thesis (max. 4 MB; alternatively, include a download link to the document in the letter)
