The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) promotes the “Programme for Project-Related Personal Exchange (PPP)” using funds provided by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). Outside Germany, the programme is promoted by partner organisations in the respective countries.

The programme fosters project-based collaboration between German and international research teams, enabling them to work together as equal partners on highly relevant topics while complementing each other’s expertise. A key focus is on supporting early-career researchers. Binational cooperation also aims to facilitate knowledge transfer and create mutual benefits for both sides.
