BMW Group Intern for Production Optimization and Industry 4.0 in the Press Shop 2026

The team at the BMW Group focuses on quality and production optimization measures in the forming/press shop production area, as well as the integration of Industry 4.0 projects. You will support us in analyzing big data environments and further developing digital technologies in production.

What can you expect?

• You will assist in the analysis and processing of results from the inline measurement and testing systems in the Big Data environment of the press shop.
• Furthermore, you will contribute to the integration and further development of these technologies, as well as increasing their maturity level.
• Furthermore, you will assist in the evaluation of production data and machine key figures for the creation of evaluation documents.
• Furthermore, you will gain insights into production and process parameters in the manufacture of body parts, both in theory and practice.
• You will also provide support for smaller projects with regular feedback from your contact person.

• Proficient use of MS Office and editors.
• Interest in programming languages.
