Requirements
The Peter Fuld Foundation currently supports over 30 scholarship recipients from a wide range of disciplines. It assists young people who face challenging circumstances or who would otherwise have to interrupt or abandon their education without financial support.
- Applicants should be no older than 30 at the time of application. The foundation awards scholarships to young people to finance their studies in the following areas:
- Bachelor's, Master's, Diploma and State Examination:
The foundation supports students by financing a maximum of six semesters, provided that these
- are faced with difficult starting conditions or are disadvantaged due to their origin (disadvantage),
- have completed their studies so far with focus and good results (eligibility for funding),
- the completion of their studies appears to be at risk due to a lack of financial resources (financial hardship) and
- demonstrate German language skills at B1 level.
- Note for Bachelor's students: The scholarship for Bachelor's degree programs is only awarded from the second semester onwards . Therefore, only students who have already completed their first semester or are transitioning into their second semester are eligible to apply.
Second degrees are only funded in exceptional cases. Scholarships are generally only possible if the standard period of study
is not exceeded by more than 50% before the final examination.
- Doctoral studies : The foundation awards scholarships for doctoral studies for a maximum of six semesters.
- Student scholarships
- Especially aimed at young people aged 16 and over to obtain their (specialized) university entrance qualification.
- Apprenticeship scholarships
- Especially for young people who are learning a recognized apprenticeship profession.
It is not possible to apply for a scholarship specifically for studying abroad. Enrollment at a German university is a prerequisite for receiving a scholarship.
