The research group of Prof Mihai Netea investigates the role of inflammatory processes in ageing. To this end, it is integrating multiomics data on proteome, lipidome, epigenome, immune phenotype from human cohorts to calculate biological clocks and thirr roles in aging in individuals with obesity. The project is imbedded in the Collaborative Research Center 1454 Metaflammation and Cellular Programming.
Your tasks:
- conducting ex vivo and in vitro experiments using molecular biology and immunology techniques,
- basic and multiomics data analysis,
- development and optimization of experimental protocols,
- generation and validation of scientific hypothesis,
- writing scientific texts,
- support for research and teaching activities in the field of immunology,
- active participation in seminar, lab meetings, scientific conferences, workshops

Requirements
- Master degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or related field,
- knowledge of molecular biology and immunology techniques, bioinformatic skills,
