In this research project, proof theoretic, set theoretic, and probabilistic reflection principles are investigated from an epistemological and from a formal perspective. The postdoctoral researcher in Konstanz will research, in collaboration with other researchers from the team, set theoretic, and possibly also probabilistic reflection principles from a philosophico-mathematical point of view.
Responsibilities / Opportunities
- Research on set theoretic reflection principles and their epistemic warrant
- Participation in the research activities of the research group
- The opportunity (not an obligation) to teach seminars in the B.A. program and the M.A. program of the department of philosophy

Requirements
- Completed a first-rate PhD in formal philosophy or mathematics
- Good problem-solving skills and background in both set theory and the philosophy of set theory
- Formal and philosophical knowledge of probabilistic reflection principles is welcome
- Good English language skills
- Experience in interdisciplinary research is welcome
