The Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Section of Neuroimmunology, led by Prof. Dr. Clemens Warnke, is currently accepting applications for a Research Associate (Postdoctoral Researcher)
The position is offered for a period of 2 years. The starting date is as soon as possible or date. The position is fulltime with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13).
Tasks:
- conducting scientific services in research and teaching
- laboratory management, including organization of workflows and coordination of day-to-day laboratory operations
- independent supervision and mentoring of students carrying out high-quality theses and dissertations
- project management in translational neuroimmunology research
- development and implementation of independent project ideas
- preparation and contribution to competitive research proposals

Requirements
- MSc-degree or equivalent and completed PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Neurosciences or a related life science discipline
- strong interest in neuroimmunology research
- structured, team-oriented working style with strong communication skills
- broad expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, and/or immunology
- experience in organizing laboratory workflows and coordinating laboratory operations
- good knowledge of German sufficient for independent communication with team members (spoken and written); very good English (spoken and written)
Disposition to own scientific qualification is expected.
