University of Freiburg Doctoral Candidate Analysing Power in Forest Adaptation Governance Scholarship 2025

The doctoral candidate will specifically work in the project on "Power in Forest Adaptation Governance - A comparative analysis", which theoretically bases on ideational concepts like discursive institutionalism, ideational power and policy change. Empirically qualitative comparative analysis of policy documents and interviews will be conducted in Germany and Canada at different political levels.

Requirements

  • Hold a Master's degree in Political/Social Science, Forest Sciences or in a related field 
  • Have an understanding and deep interest in political science
  • Interest in empirical social science research and 
  • Enjoy an international scientific group.
