TU Dortmund University offers the DAAD scholarship for more equal opportunities throughout the year. With the help of this scholarship, international students and doctoral candidates with special challenges in their studies (e.g. special care situations for children or relatives in need of care, disability, refugee background) can be supported.
The scholarship is awarded to international students and doctoral candidates who can provide evidence of their special domestic requirements at the time of application.
The funding amount is up to €934.00 per month for international Bachelor's and Master's students. For international doctoral students, the funding amount is up to €1,300.00 per month.
The DAAD scholarship is awarded according to available budget funds and after a thorough examination of the applications. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of scholarships to be awarded, a shortlist will be drawn up. The funding period is between one and six months for Bachelor's and Master's students and up to twelve months for doctoral students. The funding period is based on the individual needs of the applicants and their personal challenges.
Applications are open to international students and doctoral candidates who are enrolled at TU Dortmund University and face particular personal challenges. These include special care situations for children or relatives in need of care, a degree of disability or a refugee background.
If you meet all the requirements for the DAAD Scholarship for Equal Opportunities, you will be invited to an online application interview by e-mail.
