RWTH International Academy High Potential Student Grant (HiPS) 2025

This scholarship was created to enable high potential students to pursue an executive Master's degree program, at RWTH Aachen University, offered by RWTH International Academy.

The HiPS Grant will be awarded after successful admission to one of the following Master’s degree programs:

• M. Sc. Computer Aided Conception and Production in Mechanical Engineering
• M. Sc. Management and Engineering in Computer Aided Mechanical Engineering
• M. Sc. Management and Engineering in Production Systems
• M. Sc. Robotic Systems Engineering
• M. Sc. Smart Production Engineering
• M. Sc. Textile Engineering
• M. Sc. Resilient Civil Engineering
• M.Sc. Battery Systems Engineering
• MPA European Studies

Benefits

This scholarship covers 25% of the tuition fees charged by RWTH International Academy for one of the above-mentioned Master’s degree programs.

Requirements

• Admitted students to one of the above-mentioned Master’s degree programs who have performed excellently in their Bachelor studies, are eligible for the scholarship.
• A cumulative grade point average of 1.7 or higher is required (converted to the German grading system)
• Students who already receive funding or a scholarship for the required tuition fees are not eligible.
• HiPS awardees withdrawing their admission are no longer eligible for the HiPS in case of a new admission offer in the future.

Interview Dates and Process

In your letter of intent, you should specify your motivation for applying for this scholarship. Your letter of intent should follow a clear, logical structure. You should answer the following questions in an engaging and creative manner:

• "As a HiPS Grant awardee, how do you intend to contribute to growing our network of international students? What would you do to serve as an ambassador between RWTH International Academy and your undergraduate university?”

The evaluation process does include multiple rounds. Applicants will be informed about the decision for the HiPS Grand along with their admission offer for one of the abovementioned Master’s degree programs.

Application Documents

A complete scholarship application consists of:

• Regular application for the Master’s degree program submitted through the RWTHonline application portal
• Letter of intent for the scholarship (500 words)
