Benefits
Master's students: €900 per month for up to six months
Doctoral candidates: €1,250 per month for up to six months
Single parents and persons with chronic illnesses or disabilities may be granted a higher scholarship if they can prove that they have additional needs.

Master's students and doctoral candidates at RWTH Aachen University for stays at the following universities in China:

- Hong Kong Polytechnic University
- Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
- Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)
- Huazhong University of Science and Technology
- Peking University
- Shanghai Jiao Tong University
- Southeast University
- Sun Yat-sen University
- Tongji University
- Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School
- University of Hong Kong
- University of Science and Technology Beijing
- Xi’an Jiao Tong University
- Zhejiang University
Interview Dates and Process
- Good academic performance
- Civic engagement is an advantage
Application Documents
- Curriculum vitae / CV with contact details (address, email)
- One to two pages explaining the duration, planned activities, and intended purpose of the stay
- Hosting agreement from the host university with reference to the purpose and duration of the stay, including a review of the history of cooperation and/or an outline of potential future cooperation
- Certificate of enrollment from the home university (for master's students)
- Transcript of records (for master's students)
- Copy of passport
