The Otto A. Wipprecht Foundation provides financial support for eligible students and graduates of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau undertaking study, research, or internship stays abroad.

- One-time travel allowance: maximum EUR 1,000
- Monthly grant: EUR 1,000 (or the equivalent in the host country's currency)
Requirements
- Students of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau
- in a Master's program or with a completed Master's degree,
- who wish to complete a stay abroad (study program at a foreign university or internship)
- The focus is on the USA, Canada, Japan and other European countries.
Application Documents
From the applicant :
- Application form for a scholarship
- 5-page “application form”
- Copies of previous degrees obtained at the university, proof of any completed internships, proof of any funding through government programs (e.g. BAföG) or other foundations.
- Proof of TOEFL test or equivalent
- Please note : applications must be submitted via the Chancellor of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, Mr. Lorenz, who, as one of the foundation's board members, conducts a preliminary review of the application, and not sent directly to the foundation's office in Frankfurt am Main.
From the experts:
- Letters of recommendation (form) from two university professors
- Form containing information on the supervision of the scholarship recipient at the foreign university, to be submitted by one of the sending professors
- Please note : the documents must also be submitted via the Chancellor of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, Mr. Lorenz, who, as one of the foundation's board members, conducts a preliminary review of the application, and not sent directly to the foundation.
