The Institute for Experimental Immunology and Imaging, Department of Immunodynamics is seeking a Research Associate (Postdoc) for “MS-based single-cell and spatial multi-omics”.
Your tasks
- Measurement and analysis of data sets from liquid chromatographic mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and imaging matrix-associated laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MSI).
- Establishment of multiplex IF microscopy staining and automated analysis of microscopic datasets using segmentation algorithms and AI
- Isolation of malignant tissue/cells by laser microdissection for further mass spectrometric investigations
- Application of light-sheet microscopy in combination with mass spectrometry
- Development of methods for "minimal proteic sample preparation"
- Establishment of bioinformatic algorithms for registering multi-omics approaches from mass spectrometric and microscopic datasets
- Integrative evaluation of the data using multivariate analyses, dimensionality reduction, and "pathway", "signaling" and "enrichment" analyses.
- Establishment of new machine learning algorithms to identify patterns in mass spectrometric and microscopic datasets
- Support of the working group "Single-cell and spatial multi-omics" with supervision of students and PhD students
