The Chair of Business Informatics and Logistics at the University of Münster is seeking Research Associate position in Business Informatics and Logistics for the BMFTR-funded research project ADAPTI-M.
The ADAPTI-M project ("Next Generation Modeling: Adaptive System to Support Public Health Decision-Making in Respiratory Infection Pandemics") builds upon the German Epidemic Microsimulation System (GEMS) developed in the preceding OptimAgent project. Its aim is to develop a novel, agent-based modeling system for pandemic preparedness and management.

Requirements
- A completed doctorate in the field of economics, business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering, mathematics or a comparable field is required.
- A high level of motivation to achieve ambitious goals in a high-performing team is desired.
- Good knowledge and experience in epidemic modeling, in quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as a strong interest in deepening selected research methods and in exploring new subject areas are desirable.
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written, are required.
- They fit into the chair team, which is characterized by teamwork, communication skills, organizational skills, and an independent and productive way of working.
