The Institute of Integrated Circuits and Systems (IICS) is looking for a PhD student in analog and mixed-signal design.
The successful candidate will be employed as a full-time research associate at E-13 level. The research topic will be in the area of high-speed or energy-efficient integrated circuits and systems with applications in wireless/wirelined systems, biomedical interfaces, edge AI, etc. Compelling personal interest and proven capability of the successful candidate will be taken into consideration.

Requirements
- Completed scientific university studies with a master degree, in particular in the subject Microelectronics or Electrical Engineering
Desired knowledge and personal skills
- Solid knowledge and background in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, previous tapeout experience is desirable.
- Deep understanding of analog and digital signal processing methods and applications
- Strong interest and proven capability in academic research, previous publication in decent journals/conferences is an advantage
- Record and capability to work in a team and pick up new skills quickly
- Excellent language skills in English, with German as an advantage
