The University of Hamburg is looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to support our team as part of a PhD program, to explore the fundamental principles of tRNA biosynthesis and apply this knowledge to the development of tRNA-based therapeutics.

Requirements
- Master's degree in molecular and cell biology (e.g., molecular biology, molecular biotechnology)
- Experimental knowledge in post-transcriptional processing of RNA (especially tRNA), including splicing, modifications, aminoacylation and related processes.
- Background in research and development of translation-oriented therapeutics, preferably RNA-based therapeutics
- experimental experience with RNA
- Experience in bioinformatics and scripting skills are advantageous.
- very good English skills
