Requirements
- successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diploma, or equivalent) in energy engineering, process engineering, power plant engineering or a closely related engineering science with a focus on energy engineering and thermodynamics with very good grades
- excellent knowledge of thermodynamics and energy-conversion concepts as well as evaluation methods (exergy analysis, economic analysis)
- language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English (minimum B2)
- independent and structured way of working, ability to work in a team (desirable)
- experience with energy system modeling and simulation (desirable)
- familiarity with smart grids, sector coupling, or renewable energy integration (desirable)
- good programming skills (Python, Julia, or similar), including handling and analyzing datasets (desirable)
- basic knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA), environmental modeling, or sustainability assessment (desirable)
- experience in scientific writing and preparing grant proposals (desirable)
