Requirements

  • A university degree in the field of health economics, economics, econometrics, epidemiology, statistics or a comparable qualification. Applicants should belong to the best students within their cohort and be methodologically strong.
  • Interest in research topics related to health economics and health services research
  • Independence, critical thinking, flexibility, teamwork, high motivation and an interest in research
  • A sound theoretical knowledge of statistical methods in fields such as cost-effectiveness analysis, econometrics and regression analysis
  • Ideally, practical experience in applying the methods mentioned
  • Proficient use of at least one statistical software package (ideally Stata; otherwise, for example: SAS, R, SPSS)
  • Proficiency in English
  • German at B1-level
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
