The Deutschlandstipendium provides financial and non-material support to high-achieving and committed students from all over the world. Modelled after the principle of public-private partnership, businesses, foundations or private individuals sponsor young talent with a pledge of 150 euros per month. The Federal Government matches this amount with another 150 euros. But there is even more: Many universities and private sponsors also support Deutschlandstipendium holders through concurrent mentoring programmes, networking events and internships.

Benefits
- The scholarship amounts to € 300 per month in the funding year (October 1 to September 30 of the following year). The amount of the scholarship is independent of your own and your parents' income.
Requirements
Funding is available:
- Students who are enrolled at OTH Regensburg and still have at least two semesters of the standard period of study ahead of them.
- Applicants who meet the admission requirements for the degree program and are about to begin their studies at OTH Regensburg.
Not eligible for funding:
- Doctorates
- Students who receive other talent- and performance-related material support that exceeds a monthly average of 30 euros per semester.
Interview Dates and Process
The Deutschlandstipendium supports high-achieving students in consideration of:
- previous achievements in school, training and studies
- social, societal, church, political or university-internal commitment
- successes, awards and prizes as well as
- special personal or family circumstances, employment during studies or a migration background
Application Documents
The following documents must be attached to the online application as a pdf:
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Certificate of enrollment from OTH Regensburg (applicants can submit their certificate of enrollment after receipt).
Please note: Certificates of enrolment with the note "If you have re-registered, you can retrieve your certificate of enrolment as usual for a winter semester starting in September and for a summer semester starting in March" cannot be recognized. In this case, please submit your last valid certificate of enrolment, e.g. from summer semester 2025.
- Proof of ECTS credits earned to date (only for students in their 2nd or higher semester)
- Proof of previous academic achievements (from SSP/HISinOne) (only for students in their 2nd or higher semester)
- Proof of previously completed Bachelor's degree (grade Bachelor's degree) (only for applicants for the Master's program or students in the first semester of the Master's program)
- Copy of the university entrance qualification certificate (uncertified)
- general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or
- Proof of special qualification
- If applicable, copy of the final certificate of vocational training and the employer's reference (uncertified)
- Proof of employment during the course of studies, prizes, awards, successes, extracurricular or extracurricular commitment
- Signed declaration of participation: You can find the declaration of participation in the application portal. Please fill out the last page of this document, sign it and upload it as an attachment
