In the Future UX-Concepts & UX-SW Technologies team, we are responsible for the UX/UI architecture of future vehicle generations. On our path toward the mobility of the future, we are seeking support in the context of a PhD position. You will work in a highly dynamic team with a high degree of personal responsibility and diverse future topics, new technology innovations, concepts, software frameworks, and process innovations.

Requirements
- A prerequisite for employment is that the doctoral project must be supervised by a university lecturer. The selection of a suitable supervisor is the responsibility of the doctoral candidate.
- Completed degree (Master or diploma) in Human Computer Interaction, Media Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology and Design or a comparable degree program with a focus on UI/UX
- Very good knowledge of common UI/UX design and development environments (e.g., Protopie, Figma, Adobe CC Suite, etc.). Solid knowledge of generative artificial intelligence/machine learning, understanding of agentic AI paradigms, ideally experience in customer studies and UX methods. Solid knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#)
- High affinity for UX/UI in the automotive context and ideally a Class B driving license
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- High motivation and commitment, strong analytical and conceptual skills, independent working style, knowledge of scientific work.
- Comprehensive understanding of vehicle usability, technical affinity, enjoyment of independent work and active communication
