Mercedes-Benz Logistics Planning & Coordination Intern 2026

As an intern, you will support a logistics planner in a central coordination function and actively participate in the day-to-day business of series planning. 

Your tasks will include, in particular:

  • Support in tracking the planning progress of different model series along defined milestones
  • Maintenance, consolidation and plausibility checks of planning statuses, premises and deadlines
  • Assistance with the collection, processing and evaluation of logistics KPIs (e.g. maturity levels, milestone status, progress indicators)
  • Creation and updating of overviews, reports and management presentations (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Support in analyzing deviations and in clearly explaining causes and relationships.
  • Preparation of votes, regular meetings and decision-making rounds at the series and division level
  • Tracking of open issues, measures and feedback from the interface areas
  • Support in the further development of KPI logics, evaluations and reporting standards
  • Collaboration on special topics and ad-hoc analyses in the field of logistics, planning and coordination
  • You will fully support all tasks of the coordination and planning function and gain deep insight into cross-series logistics planning.

Requirements

  • Studies in the field of logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, production or similar
  • Strong affinity for numbers and analysis, as well as an interest in complex relationships.
  • Structured, meticulous and reliable work ethic
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, ideally with initial experience in KPI analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
  • Excellent German skills, good English skills
