The team works at the interface between the traditional automotive business and the implementation of innovative developments in and around the vehicle – at our locations worldwide in Germany, the USA, South Africa, China, India, Mexico, and Argentina.
These are the challenges you will face:
- Preparation and participation in supplier meetings/negotiations
- Cross-functional, international cooperation with internal and external contacts
- Collaboration in operational purchasing (preparation in Excel/PowerPoint, preparation and follow-up of negotiations)
- Participation in the preparation, evaluation and negotiation of new procurement or resourcing scopes
- Preparation of inquiry documents and offer compilations
- Creation of parts histories
- Development and comparison of different business cases based on forecast quantities/costs
- Tracking of change management processes, coordination of quantities with development and series management and communication with suppliers
- Participation in the organization of workshops, offer presentations and supplier meetings
- Evaluation and independent analysis of purchasing key figures

Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration or a comparable degree program
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident use of MS Office
- Practical experience in creating presentation materials is an advantage
- Commitment, reliability and teamwork
- Analytical thinking and strategic working methods
- Communication and presentation skills
- Enthusiasm for new topics
