LMU awards completion scholarships through a competitive selection process to highly qualified doctoral candidates whose dissertation projects are nearing completion and who have no other funding available during the requested funding period.
The following documents are required to apply for the graduation scholarship:
To complete your application, you will need two academic reports that must include an assessment of the current state of your work, the feasibility of the work and time schedule, your academic qualifications, and the quality of your doctoral project.
One of the expert opinions must be written by your primary supervisor . This opinion must also include confirmation that funding from the chair/institute/department and, if applicable, further funding from an ongoing third-party funded project is not possible.
A further expert opinion must be written by a second university lecturer (professor, private lecturer (PD)).
The expert opinions must be sent by the university professors themselves to the GraduateCenter LMU in good time via email ( [email protected] ).
