Your tasks and responsibilities:
The successful applicant will participate in the postgraduate program “Infection Research on Human Pathogens@MVPI”. The doctoral research project will be performed in the group of Prof. Dr. Sebastian Suerbaum and address questions related to the genomic and epigenomics adaptation of the carcinogenic bacterial stomach pathogen Helicobacter pylori to its individual human host, using a combination of State of the Art genomic analysis with diverse molecular experimental approaches.
The position will be available from today on at the Max von Pettenkofer Institute (located in Munich city center).We offer an excellent research environment, access to a wide variety of techniques, and the possibility to participate in the structured graduate program of MvPI and LMU, including focused lectures, seminars, and skills courses.
