Benefits
- Scholarship recipients receive a monthly basic stipend of 1,500 euros
- If applicable, a monthly family allowance of 100 euros per child.
Requirements
- (Prospective) Doctoral candidates from all departments of the University of Leipzig are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
- The graduate committee decides on the applications, taking into account a statement obtained from the faculties.
Application Documents
Please submit the application documents in digital form as a single PDF file
- Application for a state scholarship from the funds of the Free State of Saxony
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form, including a description of previous academic training
- a report from the supervising university professor
- Description of the doctoral project (max. 10 pages)
- Time and work plan for the entire required doctoral period
- Certificate of university degree
- Mandatory: Graduation certificate that qualifies for doctoral studies
- Further references can be added.
- In the event of a funding commitment, proof of acceptance as a doctoral candidate at the faculty or a certificate of enrollment in the doctoral program must be submitted no later than the start of the funding period.
