Benefits

• The scholarship amount is €1,200 per month, plus a monthly allowance of €150 for material and travel expenses, and a child allowance, if applicable. The scholarship is awarded for 36 months.

Requirements

• University degree in chemistry or equivalent subjects that allows admission to doctoral studies
• Above-average study and examination results that demonstrate a special aptitude for scientific work
• Practical experience in organic synthesis
• Experience in the production and handling of multinuclear copper complexes
• Willingness to actively collaborate in an interdisciplinary manner
• Willingness and suitability to work with partners in Padua (relevant experience and contacts are desirable)
• Compliance with the statutes of the Justus Liebig University Giessen to ensure good scientific practice in all work
• The doctoral project should make an important and outstanding contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
