The Rastatt automotive region, with its Mercedes-Benz plants in Rastatt, Kuppenheim, and Bischweier, is one of the largest employers in the area. The A-Class, GLA, CLA, CLA Shooting Brake, and EQA are all produced at the Rastatt plant. With conventional combustion engines, plug-in hybrids, and electric vehicles, the
Rastatt plant covers the full spectrum of modern drive technologies. As the on-site HR department, we are the point of contact for managers and specialist departments at the Rastatt production plant. Here's what you can expect during your internship:
- Supporting HR managers in measures of workplace reintegration management (BEM), such as organizing and coordinating discussions, implementing measures for reintegration after sick leave.
- Participation in exciting HR projects, including those related to organizational development and management consulting.
- Participation in the coordination and implementation of personnel measures
- Supporting HR managers in employee interviews and disciplinary measures
- Collaboration with internal partners (e.g. lawyers, company medical service, etc.)
- Participation in the ongoing development of the area with a focus on innovation and digitalization.
- Assistance with recruitment processes, e.g. preparation and follow-up as well as participation in personnel selection interviews
- Opportunity to observe (and possibly support) in all areas of HR work on site, e.g. personnel planning, labor law and labor policy, remuneration, training, …)
The work can begin from August 2026.

Requirements
- A degree in business administration, social sciences, law, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, some initial professional experience, preferably in human resources or project work
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fluent English skills are an advantage
