Helmholtz Munich is inviting applications for a doctoral research position investigating how cellular structures and metabolic signalling pathways change during the development of cardiometabolic diseases.
Based at the Institute for Diabetes and Obesity, the project combines cell biology and biochemistry with advanced mass spectrometry, proteomics, phosphoproteomics and lipidomics to uncover mechanisms linking metabolic organs and cardiovascular health. The successful candidate will investigate cellular and mouse models of metabolic disease, analyse complex biological data, and contribute to research that could advance the understanding and treatment of diabetes and related cardiovascular complications.
Paid research position at 50% of German public-sector pay grade E13, plus a possible additional allowance.
If you have obtained a university degree abroad, we will require further documents from you regarding the comparability of your degree at the latest by the time you start work. Please request the Statement of Comparability for Foreign Higher Education Qualifications as early as possible.
