Benefits

• The scholarship amounts to €300.00 per month. 

Requirements

1. You have an above-average grade point average
2. You are the first generation of university graduates, meaning your parents do not have a university degree
3. You have been or ideally are currently involved in voluntary work
4. You are at least in your third semester of a Bachelor's degree or at most in your first semester of a Master's degree
5. Enrollment in one of the following degree programs (Bachelor or Master):       

• Applied Artificial Intelligence 
• Applied Computer Science
• Medical Informatics
• Software Engineering
• Engineering Informatics
• Artificial Intelligence & Industrial Digitization
• Business informatics

Selection Process

• You will likely be notified of an invitation to the virtual selection interview by September 18, 2026. The interviews themselves are expected to take place on September 22 and 29, 2026.

Application Documents

• Letter of motivation (max. DIN A4 page)
• Tabular CV
• Current, complete grade overview
• Certificate of enrollment for the winter semester 2026/2027 (if not yet available, then for the summer semester 2026)
• University entrance qualification or Bachelor's degree certificate
• If available, certificates of relevant internships, vocational training, professional activities, voluntary work, etc.
• An informal statement from both parents confirming that the child does not hold an academic degree. The statement must include the parents' first and last names, date of birth, and signatures.
