Selection Process

01 Submission of the application

You can submit your application documents quickly and easily via our online application tool on our website.

02 Review of the documents

All applications received will be collected until the application deadline and then reviewed by the responsible HR consultants and supervisors of the relevant departments. Applications will not be ranked. After the application deadline, we will inform you about the next steps via email.

03 Invitation to a conversation

We invite selected applicants to a personal interview with the responsible HR consultant and the supervisors from the relevant departments. Use this interview to get to know HEIDENHAIN and form your own impression. We will discuss your resume, the information in your cover letter, and your previous experience. We will provide you with detailed information about the development program at HEIDENHAIN and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

04 Callback and feedback

After the conversation, you give us feedback on your impressions. This allows us to clarify any remaining questions so that both sides can reach a decision.

05 Contract signing

After a successful personal meeting, we will offer you a sponsorship agreement.

06 Welcome to HEIDENHAIN

First, you'll focus on your studies. Your start at HEIDENHAIN in Traunreut begins with an internship, a company day, or your first practical phase. On your first day, we'll pick you up at reception. Afterwards, you'll receive all the important information about working at HEIDENHAIN. Later, you'll go directly to your specialist department.
