The doctoral project will dissect vascular endothelial RNA-centred mechanisms in age- and obesity-related human diseases using cutting-edge experimental and computational tools.
Your Tasks:
- Perform bench experiments (e.g. RNA biology, organ function in vivo and ex vivo, intravital microscopy, perfusion doppler, histology, flow cytometry)
- Work with preclinical disease models incl. human tissue organoids, in vivo studies and human cohort studies
- Analyse high-throughput data and integrate multi-omics layers. Validate novel mechanisms in human cells and tissues
- Present results at internal seminars and international conferences
- Co-author manuscripts

Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences or Translational or Molecular Medicine
- Hands-on molecular, computational, or cell-biology experience gained in a leading research laboratory
- ≥ 1 peer-reviewed co-author publication (or manuscript submitted)
- Excellent English (IELTS ≥ 7.5 overall, ≥ 7.0 each band or equivalent)
- Strong communication & teamwork skills. Interest to elucidate the RNA code in disease
