GIZ Internship - Business Development in Germany 2026

The GIZ Business Development Internship offers students the opportunity to gain experience supporting strategic business development within Germany’s international cooperation agency. Interns will contribute to data collection and analysis, process development, digitalisation, climate-related topics, private capital mobilisation and the preparation of business presentations and reports.

• The monthly intern salary is €2,349 (gross).

Requirements

• Studies in the field of business administration, economics or a comparable degree program
• Basic knowledge of organizational structures and processes
• Good strategic and very good analytical skills, as well as a structured way of working.
• Good communication skills (including the preparation of documents suitable for the board of directors)
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Fluent German and English skills (C2)
• Prior consulting experience or international experience is desirable.
• Additional language skills are desirable.
