CIHLMU Scholarship 2025

Current CIHLMU students and recent alumni are encouraged to publish their research in peer-reviewed journals. To support this, CIHLMU offers a scholarship covering publication fees and LMU ethics committee fees for eligible applicants.

Requirements

-Only candidates from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) are eligible. Participants from High-Income Countries (HICs) will not be considered.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a CIHLMU program or alumni (graduated within the last 60 months).
• Applicants must be first or last authors with CIHLMU affiliation.
• Publications must be in peer-reviewed journals with an impact factor.
• For ethics fees scholarship the student must be enrolled at LMU.

Required Documents for Publication Scholarship

• Completed application form (download below).
• Acceptance letter from the journal.
• Manuscript ready for publication.
• Supervisor's consent (for current students).
• Consent from an affiliated CIHLMU person (for alumni).

Required Documents for Ethics Fee Scholarship

• Completed application form (download below).
• lnvoice issued be LMU ethics committee.
• Proof of enrollment ( Msc / PhD at LMU )

Submission Form to be filled and emailed to [email protected]. 

Expectations Applicants must acknowledge CIHLMU, DAAD, and BMZ in the publication. A sample acknowledgment: “I would like to thank CIHLMU, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with its exceed program, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for financial support.”
