British Council Internship 2025

The intern will support the Arts Manager and Head of Arts Germany to implement activities in country delivered through one or more of the Arts global programmes: Culture Connects, Spotlights on Culture, Creative Economy and Arts Responds to Global Challenges.

Particular focus will include working on event management, research and communications tasks. Through this internship, they will gain experience in key areas of the Germany Cultural Engagement portfolio.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of the arts and creative industries in Germany
• Active commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
• Strong communication skills (written / spoken in English and German both at C1 level)
• Strong research skills
• Attention to detail
• You must have the legal right to work in Germany at the time of application
