BMW Internship in Strategic Provider Management 2025

Strategic Provider Management is the central unit for managing a wide range of outsourcing projects. We outsource business processes to external service providers so the bank can focus on its core business. Our task is to constantly monitor the risks associated with outsourcing while ensuring our high quality standards. As the central unit for implementing regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk) in the context of outsourcing, we work closely with our internal departments, external service providers, and our branches in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

• You will gain detailed insight into the implementation of outsourcing projects and, right from the start, take on challenging tasks within the framework of service provider management at home and abroad.
• You will support strategic provider management as a full-fledged team member and proactively drive forward independent topics.
• You are involved in the development of risk monitoring measures and help to develop specifications and model templates.
• On the path to agile and digital transformation, you will support the team in designing the methods and processes.
• You will also be involved in the preparation and implementation of training courses, workshops and conferences.
• Participation in tenders and reporting to management rounds off your varied range of activities.

Requirements

• You are studying economics, business law or a comparable course of study and have already completed the third semester by the start of the internship.
• You work in a structured, goal-oriented and conscientious manner.
• You have a strategic mindset and are able to work independently.
• Ideally, you have already gained some professional experience, for example through internships or student work.
• You are proficient in using MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• We require very good German and fluent English skills.
