the BMW Group, offer you an exciting and varied internship in the field of die casting. Our team develops innovative solutions for prototype production and optimizes production processes. You will gain valuable insights into modern manufacturing technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What awaits you?
- You support interdisciplinary departments with questions regarding production optimization and prototype production.
- You will also be involved in the organization and monitoring of experiments, including evaluation and, if necessary, presentation of the results to various committees.
- In addition, you will contribute in a coordinated manner to the development of sand cores for undercut geometries in die casting as a sub-project.
- You will also support day-to-day operations and gain practical experience in production.
- You will support the independent processing of tasks and receive regular feedback from your contact person.
- Following the internship, there is the opportunity to write a final thesis.

Requirements
- Studies in foundry technology, materials science, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study.
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Team and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Good knowledge of German and English.
