The team at the BMW Group focuses on Sales Development and Volume Planning for the MINI brand. We explore innovative business areas, analyze new trends in the automotive sector, and develop them through to implementation. You will gain insights into steering monthly production planning, wholesale and retail planning for MINI together with regions and various planning departments.

What awaits you?

  • You will support the development and implementation of concepts to sustainably lead the MINI brand into the future, e.g. in the area of electrification.
  • Furthermore, you help accompany analyses and recommendations for action at national and international level.
  • In addition, you contribute to worldwide communication with our contacts in the sales companies and actively support the design of new processes.
  • Moreover, you assist in steering monthly production, wholesale and retail planning for MINI together with regions and various BMW Group planning departments.
  • You also help to prepare ongoing opportunity and risk analysis based on market development, competitive environment, regulatory and external conditions.
  • Additionally, you support preparing presentation documents for board and management meetings with reference to current sales situation and performance.

Duration: 6 months

Working hours: Full-time

Requirements

  • Studies in economics, industrial engineering, data science or a related field.
  • Completed basic bachelor's degree or master's degree.
  • Affinity to the automotive industry, including comprehensive knowledge of the automotive market, market segments and competitors.
  • Initial practical experience in Sales and Marketing is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel including VBA and PowerQuery and PowerPoint; Think Cell and initial experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI are desirable.
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking skills with affinity for data and figures.
  • Proficient German and English skills.
