BMW Group Intern for the Development of Electrical Components for Motorcycles 2026

During your internship, you will support us in developing next-generation components that are optimized for space and cost.

What can you expect?

• You will assist in the creation of concepts and the design of component sets for motorcycles.
• You will also help with the procurement and construction of prototypes and can lend a hand yourself.
• Furthermore, you will be involved in the project management of component development.
• In addition, you will assist with the mechanical design and the validation of individual components through testing.
• Your responsibilities will be rounded off by your involvement in the commissioning of individual components up to and including the complete drive train.

Duration: 6 months

Requirements

• Second half of a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable degree program.
• Initial practical experience with CAD programs, ideally CATIA V5.
• Basic knowledge in the field of methodological construction.
• Driving licence class B.
• Enthusiasm for motorcycles; Class A driver's license desirable.
• Fluent German skills (language level B2 or better) and good English skills.
• Structured work methods.
