The Chair of Physical Chemistry VI, located at the University of Bayreuth’s Bavarian Center for Battery Technology is currently seeking to appoint a Research Associate (m/f/d) in the Role of Impurities and Processing on the Transport of Composite Electrodes for Solid-State Batteries to commence as soon as possible.

Tasks:

  • Evaluate and establish processing protocols of hybrid materials (e.g. solid-liquid electrolytes and inorganic-organic electrolytes)
  • Quantify the effect of such hybrid materials when employed as components of composite electrodes for solid-state batteries, including but not limited to: partial transport quantification and cycling performance using a variety of galvanostatic and potentiostatic methods
  • Assess the viability of such hybrid materials against metallic negative electrodes (e.g. Li and Na)
