The Department for Quantum Technology (Prof. Dr. Matthias Kleinmann) in the Faculty of Physics (FB 11) at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the position of a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the earliest possible date.
Your tasks:
- Participate in the research activities of the Department of Quantum Technology, including the planning and execution of scientific projects in the fields of theoretical quantum technologies and foundations of quantum theory.
- Play a leading role in coordinating, developing and implementing collaborative research efforts with group members, students, and national and international research partners.
- Publication of original research results in leading scientific journals and presentation of these results at international conferences
- Preparation and implementation of courses on theoretical quantum technology.

Requirements
- A graduate degree (German diploma or master´s degree) in physics is required
- A doctorate in physics and experience as a postdoctoral researcher is required.
- Knowledge in the theoretical foundations of quantum physics, quantum information theory, and generalized probabilistic theories.
- Research experience in the mathematical structure of quantum theory and indefinite causal orders.
- Experience as a supervisor and teaching assistant capable of supervising students is desirable.
- You should be team-oriented, have strong communication and organisational skills, scientific writing and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently
