Within the development, geometric integration, and simulation of power electronics in electrified vehicles, the simulation of thermal design will be refined.

What can you expect?

• Implementation of simulation modules.
• Creation of simulation workflows and execution of simulations.
• Setting up experiments and thermal measurements.
• Research on simulation methodology in the field of physically informed neural networks with a focus on thermal modeling.
• Consideration of multiphysics coupling in neural networks, e.g., electrical and thermal interactions.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• Fundamentals of neural networks and machine/deep learning.
• Good programming skills in Python, ideally Tensorflow or PyTorch.
• First experience writing research articles.
• Fluent English skills are required; German skills are a plus.
