The PhD position is located within the Department of Immunology at the First Medical Clinic and Polyclinic. We investigate the interplay between infections and autoimmunity in autoimmune liver diseases and chronic inflammatory bowel diseases. For this research, we utilize complex cell culture models as well as primary human samples. The work is embedded within a larger, international team.

Requirements
- Completed university degree (Master of Science (MSc) or Diploma) in immunology, cell biology, biomedicine, molecular medicine or a related field of life sciences
- Practical experience or strong interest in high-dimensional flow cytometry, cell culture, confocal microscopy and bioinformatic analyses
- Prior knowledge or strong interest in immunology and pathogen-host interaction
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Good communication skills
