2026 Intern in Material Management International Supply at BMW Germany

The BMW Group offer you an exciting and varied internship in the area of material management and international supply. Our team ensures smooth material management and the international supply of vehicle parts. During your internship, you will actively support us in optimizing logistics processes and drive innovative projects forward – for an efficient and future-oriented supply chain.

What awaits you?

  • You will support our team in the management and scheduling of vehicle parts delivered to packing plants and will assist in the management of a defined range of parts.
  • You will also help resolve deviations or problems in the logistics process chain by collaborating with suppliers and specialist departments.
  • In addition, you will assist colleagues at the BMW Group in identifying weak points along the supply chain using extensive data and recognizing connections.
  • You will also support material management in creating transparency in processes and ensuring cost-efficient supply to foreign plants.
  • You will participate in projects such as the digitization of a briefing platform that helps material managers identify and resolve bottlenecks early on.

Requirements

  • Studies in economics, business informatics, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable course of study.
  • Teamwork and communication skills, confident demeanor, initiative and assertiveness.
  • Ability to proactively support tasks and contribute to finding solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office; initial experience with SAP and databases is an advantage.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
