The new project Rudolf Carnap Digital (RCD) at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP) is a long-term project funded by The Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities. The project aims to develop a comprehensive digital edition of the works of the German-American philosopher Rudolf Carnap, using the archive and edition management tool VALEP. Parts of the digital edition will also be published in print by Oxford University Press and Meiner Verlag Hamburg. The project will begin in 2026, and the initial tasks will include the creation of a facsimile edition (scans plus metadata) as well as the preparation of individual texts for the edition using LaTeX (text entry, formatting, and creation of indexes, introductions, and annotations).
