The Chair of Macroeconomics (Professor Dr. Stefan Niemann) at the Department of Economics of the University of Konstanz is inviting applications for a position as a PhD candidate. The initial contract will have a duration of three years (with a possible extension). The successful candidate will also be enrolled in the GSBS doctoral program.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in teaching and tutoring at the Chair of International Macroeconomics
- Conduct research in Macroeconomics
- Develop and apply quantitative macroeconomic theories and methods
- Publish in academic journals and present at conferences
- Collaborate on research projects with academic partners

- Strong written and oral communications skills in English
