2026 BMW Intern in Data Analysis Dual Clutch Transmission

The BMW Group offer you an exciting and varied internship in the field of Driveline Technology – Development & Quality Assurance. Our team works on the development and quality assurance of innovative dual-clutch transmissions for future vehicle generations. During your internship, you will gain exciting insights into data-based vehicle analyses and support the development of tools to optimize our testing and development processes.

What awaits you?

• You will gain insight into the development of our dual-clutch transmissions.
• You will also support the evaluation of databases and the analysis of the vehicle fleet using Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (MS ADX).
• In addition, you will contribute to the further development of a MATLAB/Python-based tool for analyzing transmission behavior, e.g. evaluating the gearshift sequence.
• You will also support the analysis of typical quality indicators of the vehicles produced.
• You coordinate with internal process partners and external suppliers when tracking project tasks.
• Your support in project meetings (agenda, documentation, preparation of presentations) is also required.
• Finally, you will support vehicle and test bench measurements.

Requirements

• Studies in (business) informatics or a comparable course of study.
• Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, VBA.
• Class B car driving license.
• Team and communication skills.
• Structured way of working.
• Self-initiative.
• Good knowledge of German and English.
