The waste management logistics team at the BMW plant in Leipzig, together with internal and external partners, manages the complete handling of over 80,000 tons of various types of waste per year along the entire process chain – from the point of origin to recycling in a waste disposal facility.
What awaits you?
- You will support the team in day-to-day operations, organizing and handling waste transports and the associated commercial processes
- You will also assist in the preparation and support of special measures during a production interruption.
- Furthermore, there is room for your active participation in projects where you can contribute your passion and ideas for sustainable waste disposal issues.
- In addition, you will gain exciting insights into logistical and technical processes as well as the system landscape in a state-of-the-art vehicle factory.

Requirements
- Studies in waste management, disposal technology, environmental and process engineering, logistics or a comparable course of study.
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Enjoyment in proactively providing support and communicating with various interface partners.
- Ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations.
- Interest in the topic of waste.
- Driving licence class B.
- Very good German skills.
