In this internship, you will help to build AI-based tools for computational fluid dynamics and support the application of machine learning in simulation-driven design.
What awaits you?
- You will support exploring and evaluating machine learning methods for simulating physical processes in the virtual vehicle development pipeline.
- Furthermore, you help to train models that predict physical quantities from vehicle geometry data.
- In addition, you contribute to benchmarking model architectures and investigating generalization strategies.
- Moreover, you will assist in presenting findings through internal reports and contribute to potential scientific publications.
- You will also help to collaborate with internal development and IT departments as well as external partners.

Requirements
- Studies in computer science, mechanical or aeronautical engineering, physics, mathematics or a related field.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles and frameworks.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics, simulation methods and scientific computing.
- Proficient in Python or C++ and experience with collaborative tools like GitHub.
- Effective communication skills in English German is a plus.
