The Joint Master Degree in Mechatronic Engineering, EU4M, welcomes all prospective students interested in becoming professionally qualified to work in the field of Mechatronics and Micro-mechatronics. If you want to be able to work in interdisciplinary and international teams to solve complex mechatronic tasks, if you want to attain the ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in dealing with a variety of tasks and problems from different fields, if you’d like to have a qualification in intercultural communication and to be able to communicate easily in different languages with people from different countries, then JMD EU4M is your master.
All students joining EU4M are requested to sign a Student's Agreement stating all the conditions and regulations accepted when registering for this Master Programme. Topics such as tuition fees, study paths, examination rules or permanence requirements among others can be found in this document.
The JMD EU4M Programme has been selected for EU co-funding for intakes 2025-2027, 2026-2028, 2027-2029 and 2028-2030. As a part of that co-funding, EACEA offers student scholarships for a full-time enrolment in the Master course that will cover the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme.
All the EMJMD student scholarships will include the students’ participation costs (including the tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to student participation in the course). Some scholarships will also include a monthly allowance for travel, installation and subsistence . Details on the EMJMD student scholarship amounts are given in the table below:

To be eligible for the JMD EU4M programme, applicants must fulfil these minimal requirements:
EMMC scholars must demonstrate outstanding academic and/or professional experience and bring real additional value to the delivery of the EMJMD.

The scholars will be selected on a competitive basis and must be accepted by the EU4M Consortium before they can start collaborating in the EMJMD.
Scholars, who are expected to bring real additional value to the course and students, have to commit themselves to actively participate in the Master’s course activities and perform teaching/research/student tutoring activities.
Additionally, scholars should contribute, after their academic activities, to the general promotion and distribution of the EMJMD Programme in general and the JMD EU4M in particular, both in their home institutions and countries of origin.

Please note that the admission process is always started the year previous to the commencement of studies. Selection Process and Final Decision will be done the same year of the commencement of studies.
Also note that the itinerary chosen within the EU4M Programme MUST include a study period in two different Programme Countries different from your RESIDENCE country (Sweden, France, Germany or Spain) for at least one semester each.
