The position is funded by the Cluster of Excellence The Adaptive Mind. The goal of The Adaptive Mind is to transform the scientific understanding of the adaptability of human behavior. Further information about the Cluster of Excellence can be found here: http://www.theadaptivemind.de.
The planned subproject involves conducting perception and eye movement experiments on adults and children. The aim is to investigate how eye movements are adapted over the course of a lifetime, and how errors are predicted and corrected. In addition, the project will examine how different sensory and motor information is used to determine the consequences of one's own movements.
Tasks:
Disposition to own scientific qualification (e. g. a doctorate project in the area of the research project) is expected.
